Today we are featuring a passionate plea from an Iranian woman. Her name is Susan Yarshar and she is the reporter from Radio Sedaye Iran (KRSI). Watch the video if you possibly can. If you have the time to wait (dial-up) or the bandwidth (broadband) it is worth both seeing and hearing her heart-felt message. Watch A Cry From The Heart (English, 5.0 MB, MPG format, see Media Footnote).

The Iran Freedom Foundation, founded by SwiftVet Dr. Jerome Corsi, held a rally in Lafayette Park across from the White House on Saturday, May 28. This Iranian woman was one of the freedom advocates who spoke at that rally. If you cannot watch the video, take the time to consider her words. A transcript follows:

In the name of the Iranians....I'm Iranian woman. I'm Iranian mother.

When the mullahs stone hundreds women they stone me.

When the mullahs cut the hand of the student, they cut my hand.

When the mullahs take eyes out of the people...eyes...they cut and they take my eyes.

When the mullahs cut the throats of [five names] they cut my throat.

When the mullahs cut the tongue of the journalist, they cut my tongue.

When the mullahs rape and kill [name], they rape me...and they rape me...and they kill me.

When the mullahs push the student from the fourth floor to the street, they push me in the street.

I am a mother.

I am asking the government of the United States and people of the United States

and government of all the Europe and people of all the Europe

Please do not help mullahs

Help people of Iran.

We want freedom.
